no armor remnant from mallyx? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok quick question. I've started doing mallyx quest. Today during the first 4 parts of the quest I actually got 2 armor remnants (I have only ever gotten 1 as a drop before) then we went on to kill mallyx, open the chest.. and I didn't get any more. I had open spots in my inventory, plus the 2 that were there it should have stacked on. Is there some reason I wouldn't have gotten it? like a cap or something, this many armor pieces and no more?

Every time you beat a section of DoA, you have a chance of getting an armor remnant. You can go on a full run and beat Mallyx with no armor remnant.

I should have been more clear.. on wiki it says you automatically get a remnant when you open the chest after beating mallyx, that is the one I didn't get. Is that not automatic?

Nope, not automatic, when I beat Mallyx I never got one armor remnant. So I guess wiki is wrong.
